This booklet describes a Milanese mandolin built by Francesco and Giuseppe Presbler in 1767.

In twenty pages are expounded detailed information about the condition of the instrument, and ten photographs show typical characteristics.

This mandolin has undergone damages and repairs that have compromised the original condition; a detailed description shows every detail.

Lessen reproductions of the instrument’s plan give information about the body of the instrument and, in particular, about the soundboard, indicating thickness and bracing.
